Day 57 - The centre of town

After a day of venturing to the other side of Sydney, today would see us closer to home. While most of the day was dedicated to getting through the paperwork that comes with building our home, we took time out to go and get some brunch at Rouse Hill Town Centre. Unlike most other shopping centres where one enters a large building which divorces you from the outside environment, Rouse Hill has been designed with an eye on yesteryear. It reminds me of 'The Block' at Lismore where the streets are arranged in a rectangle with shopping strips along each street. The design at Rouse Hill makes it feel more like a community and therefore a much more pleasant place to sit back and enjoy a coffee over conversation.

  1. Great shot Dave and nice use of the tilt/shift setting in snapseed :)

  2. Yeah, the tilt shift is a great effect and much more cost effective than the lense it simulates. Works well on people in landscapes, I think it makes it look a bit like a scale model.
