Day 56 - Two birds with one stone

Today we had a plan to be productive. It started in Tempe where new tyres for my car were fitted. While we waited we took the opportunity to have lunch at their cafe which offered thick toasted sandwiches with tea and coffee. A weekend couldn't pass without some time attributed to our new home and today it would be kitchens, which was a short drive to Stanmore. We looked at some samples, got a price list and got back in the car to enter our next destination into the satellite navigation - Maroubra Beach. We weren't intending on swimming though, it was more for an afternoon tea and coffee. Our last stop was to join Dani's friend, Melinda for her birthday celebrations. After drinks at her home we walked down to a Japanese restaurant which is where today's photo was captured by a guest photographer - the waitress. Great food and very fresh; we all had a great time chatting and catching up. Why aren't all days as productive as this?
