Tonight on our weekly visit to the folks there was something missing. Dad was empty handed when it came to his show and tell of his Tuesday's wood turning efforts. This was because he is no longer a student of his craft but now a teacher. So showing others the ropes meant he didn't make another wooden thing to add to his own collection. As he's been turning wood for a number of years, the house has filled with lots of plates, bowls and vases; no table or ledge is free from his creativity.
