Day 36 - Good day sunshine

On the last morning of our Mollymook getaway, we thought the best way to get the most of this setting was to wake early to witness the sunrise. At 6:15am the alarm sounded indicating we had 5 minutes till sunrise. We pulled ourselves out of our bed and wandered out to the balcony where we watched the beautiful site of the sun breaking cover over the horizon, as it rose, its reflection glistened on the water. This was an amazing start to a fun and action packed day. After breakfast we took in a stroll around the lodge then packed the car and headed to Booderee National Park at Jervis Bay. Here we dropped into the local store to get some snorkeling gear and visited a couple of beaches on the lookout below the waterline. We saw a few fish lurking among the rocks and got tangled in someone's fishing line! Our final destination was Hyams Beach where it was blowing a gale. After enduring the wind, protected by our beach shade, we abandoned our post and headed home - 2 out of 3 ain't bad!
