Our roof design is a complicated beast. The roofs are called skillion roofs which sounds better and more sophisticated than their other alias, a shed roof. So this afternoon when visiting the house to see the progress for the week, our roof trusses were now in place. This roof (which is the only non-skillion) covers the kitchen, bathroom and laundry and as the name implies, the large V shape is also likened to butterfly wings - hence the roof shape name is a butterfly roof. With the first floor and garage roof also completed things are moving along nicely.
Um, what a lovely roof! :-P Seriously though, it's good to see that things are moving along well.
