Seeing a few photos appear on Facebook of these amazing sculptures, Dani and I decided to head over to Windsor to catch the last day of the exhibition. We checked out the markets where Dani bought a Turkish decorated bowl, looked through a bookshop and after lunch headed down to the river. The sculptors certainly showed great imagination with the theme of Mystical Creatures - lots of serpents, mermaids and even a Gremlin! They use yellow sand which is different to what you'd find on the beach; it's actually what you find at a building site. So watch this space if I get all creative next time I visit our construction site.
They're just amazing, aren't they? We were at Windsor yesterday but the markets must have been better today as we didn't see any Turkish dishes.
