This week on visiting the folks we were earlier than usual which meant that Oscar hadn't gone to bed yet. Oscar has been catching bugs, scratching furniture and shedding hair for 17 years next Tuesday. He has also spent his time trying to make friends with Minnie (my parent's Daschund), providing company to my parents and majestic posing around the house. In his younger years he was a large cat at 8kg and would pack a punch if you dared to play with him. In his pensioner years he has slowed down, enjoys a pat and spends his time begging for food - of which the latter activity is often foiled by an early bed time :-)
